The majority of the work is helping families, but your case load and schedule will never stay consistent. You will be overworked. You will get calls at all hours of the day. You will work weekends.

The on-call schedule is made months in the future and you will have days for a month time frame. This comes to days a year. They are always hiring because no one stays. Pros Social services work can be fulfilling, but you are so overworked you never have time to feel any of that.
