Im 25 and well Im looking at some apprenticeships nearest to me, and basically id like to hear from others, either currently doing one or already working in IT if these are what i should be going for, or wastes of time? And also if being 25 still allows me to do these things. Generally employers running apprenticeships prefer to employ younger people because they can pay them less.
I'm 26 and in a similar situation. I've been working for the family business since leaving sixth form and I can't stand working there now.
I didn't do that brilliantly at school and left with 1 A level at C grade. I'm good with most practical things I put my hands to, so I've also been thinking about apprenticeships but I don't know whether anyone would take on someone my age.
