When you open more tabs, you'll see more iexplore. I will look elsewhere at why my home Internet has slowed down to a crawl. Thank you!!
Usually starts up frozen - I double click off to the side and first it says not responding for about a minute, then finally gets going. In addition, if I leave the Internet "on", unattended for about 30 minutes or more, it takes about 2 minutes to 'get going" again. I also ran one of those "free" MyCleanPC" type analysis and it came up with over "registry" errors in addition to a bunch of other "bad stuff" I am not sure if these analysis are legit, or if they just want to sell their product.

Also appactivate returns a value saying if it made the window active or not. If you try to activate an active window it fails as the window is already active. You can do process switching, but usually web pages are in the same process. AppActivate takes a PID.
